My iPod will not play music on it's own, but through the computer.?

This is a new iPod shuffle – you have installed / updated on latest software from apple.com. I received no errors at all. I have successfully added songs to the unit and show through iTunes and in the unit – timing is right – to play with the iPod connected to your computer, but no sound at all if the unit is in itself. I can turn on and have a green light for charged battery – have hit all the buttons as possible – but no sound through headphones or external speakers. I have carefully reviewed the instructions, and according with the software, everything should be working fine – but nothing. Please help. Thanks.

What your audience on the team is what is stored in iTunes library it is not on your iPod. I suspect it's nothing. Click the button to sync the iPod and must update the device automatically.
