Classic iPod battery?

I bought a 4th generation iPod three years ago. I loved it. And all was well until exactly one year later when the battery just stopped working. I bought about 3 replacement batteries, and that each one takes about four months. The last came after a week so I think now is the time to give up on it [= I know many people who have had the same problem with 4th generation iPod, but previous generations seem fine and the 5th generation seem to be fine after a year as well. Does the new iPod classic has the same battery problem? Only I do not want to save for ages to buy something expensive that will only last one year. If you have the same battery thing then there is a good alternative? (I want the 160 GB one in another large amount of memory, but music compact … Thanks thingy)!

I had the video iPod and the iPod and iPod-colored old – never had any problem with the battery in any of them as you indicate. now I have the classic and so far so good – the battery works very well. I think it must have had some type of electrical problem in your ipod and that is what created the problem. average life with average use is 5 years!
