I want to put audio books on my ipod and am having problems ….?

I went to the library and borrowed an audiobook then burned to my library iTunes. ITunes automatically puts this in my music collection and audiobook collection. I do not like this because when I have my ipod on random music I'll be listening to songs suddenly get chapter 26, blah, blah, blah. How I can fix that. It also seems to play the chapters in the wrong order although they are numbered correctly? I'm not sure what type of iPod it is, but is fairly new, a little square-shaped, plays video and is silver.

When you copy and convert to mp3 format using iTunes, the audio book becomes more than just music. You have to make another playlist for you and play well if the track number. are in the correct order. I hear a lot of audio books on an iPod. I usually change the name of each disc when you import for the love of simplicity (ie: 'The Kite Runner disk1of12). Then I put all disks in a new play list. IPods are great to listen to audiobooks, but can not on random.
